I love how the box is a metaphor for what David is carrying around in terms of his relationship with Patrick. It is cumbersome and he doesn’t quite know how to carry it yet. Also, I like the fact that Patrick doesn’t offer to open the door for him; David has to figure it out on his own.

Patrick is usually such a smooth smart ass, so the moments were you see such real intense emotion on his face are the best. Right after David said I love you the look on his face was incredible, than quickly back to smartass. The same when David told him he need time after finding out about Rachel, or when he was worried about coming out to his parents or when Jake kissed David in front of him. Those quick moments are great and a testament to Noah's acting.

The continuity is INCREDIBLE in this show. To remember even the little detail of the TEA (when a lot of other shows would just be like oh screw it, no body even paid attention to the tea comment at the beginning of the episode) is extraordinary
