If you have acquired a tubular lockpick that is not assembled, this video guide shows how quickly and easily the parts can be put together, often with no special tools needed.

A real benefit of assembling and disassembling any tool, this one included, is really getting a full understanding of how the tool works. Thanks for doing this!

Hey, since you guys are now in the business of making hex bit type tools, I have a concept for you... A GOSO style plug spinner, but rather than the flat insert tips, have it use flathead screwdriver bits; it would allow for easily acquired replacement tips when needed. No need to worry about having to improvise or fabricate something in the field.

I have lots of screwdrivers, but that bit holder is slick. All the neat stuff I’m gonna have to buy!

If you want to go even more compact in an "all in one" solution, wouldn't it be possible to make a tubular/cup-shaped handle that goes down over the top of the tool and around the feelers? (envision having a hex shaped hole in the bottom of a film canister and slipping that large end down over the top of the hex and down over the tool until the hex goes through the hole in the bottom (now top) but then actually handle shaped) You'd have to take the handle off to adjust them but it would make the whole tool about the length of basically, the tool you have there.

Had a passing thought,
Cut the hex flats down even further… would still fit hex handles just fine, but could then also fit into leatherman bit drivers… could be cool but admittedly probably not worth the trouble

You're right, it looks daunting — and then it's just ridiculously simple afterall...

It's cool being able to see this pick get assembled. But now I'm confused as to how to use it for picking an actual lock.

Here's a little chuckle for ya, i locked my keys AND pick kit in my office last week. Remember folks, keep an extra set of picks in a different place.

Where are these picks available at? I didn't see it anywhere in the video, but I may have missed it somewhere.

Bruh... I saw the Video "tubular lock New Design" that was posted a few days ago and în there was a link to this Video(i could press the link(bc i have fingers and a phone) and this Video played(beacouse i had Internet conection)) and now after 2-3 days it gets posted. Are you some kind of wizard that opens doors with a piece of bend piano wire in front of lpl faster then he does it with the lock picks?

Just a thought, unrelated to this video:

For those of us that are subscribed to the "newsletter"/giveaway list, some people, like me, probably wonder if we're actually subscribed. Because the email list is currently ONLY used for giveaways, the only way to know if they ARE subscribed is if they get an email from you saying they won something. So some people, again, like me, may wonder if they're ACTUALLY on the list and therefore subscribe again every time you have a giveaway, like the video from the other day.

So, maybe it'd be good to use the email list outside of giveaways once-in-a-while so people know for sure they're actually subscribed and on the list? It'd help people that are hoping for a giveaway know that they're for sure in the running, and also make sure things like spam filtering won't be blocking your emails since those filters are always great until they block things you actually care about and you don't know until you manually check.

Also, having a sometimes update would be great for those of us that are also on the list for the alternative purpose, you doing an update if you get canned from YouTube or whatnot. It'd allow us that want the updates from you to know we'd get them in that case too.

I wouldn't do anything more than once-a-month but no less than every 2 months either. And it doesn't have to be a "real" newsletter or whatnot. Just a reminder email saying:

1) Yes, you're subscribed.
2) If you for some reason want to get off, here's how.

Thanks!

How about a good tutorial of how to use this thing. It’s can’t figure it out. It always feels like luck when I get it to work

So what is the washer you said to not worry about supposed to be for? I'm curious why it's included in the first place if it's completely unnecessary.
