I don't even plan on *buying* this tool.

Yet LPL got me to _watch every minute_ of the assembly.

Masterlock: "Whew, good, just an assembly video."
LPL: "Ok, now that we have that assembled, we're gonna try it out"
Masterlock: "Oh no."

LPL: We are going to start the hardest possible way by single pin picking it.
15 seconds later:
LPL: And we got it open.

How about a "Covert Companion Companion" that consists of just tensioning/turning tools? it would make a nice set to be able to get both together.

😂 I like how "the hardest way" still only took a couple of seconds.

I've never been remotely interested in lockpicking, and here I am seriously considering getting this and learning, just because of how much I enjoy your videos.

I like that the tool comes unassembled makes it more satisfying when you use it

"let's make sure that wasn't a fluke"

With LPL it's never a fluke

After so many “picked and gutted” videos it’s funny to watch an “assembled and used to pick” video.

"Nope that is just easy to rake", who would have expected that!

For anyone with hand tremors like me that needs a little help: don’t screw in the extenders all the way. It’ll make them stick out more when you’re stacking the tools and washers and make it just a smidgen harder for them to fall off. Once you get the screws in the turning motion will tighten up the extenders before the screws themselves.

I sure am glad I found this video! I had no idea on how to properly assemble this tool! I was about to try to put them all on one side when I decided to search YouTube for "Covert Companion" and found this instruction video! Even following the video step by step, I knocked it over and dropped some of them on the last step when putting the two halves together!

I just wanted to say that as a non-picker, I purchased a covert companion handle and a few accessories. It's brilliant - it's more or less a fully customizable multi-tool. You can even add your own tools or keys if you can drill the right sized holes, which I did for a few things I wanted to add.

I really think that's worth leaning into from a marketing perspective (though it looks like you're not having trouble selling). This is a very valuable product, even for non-pickers!

You should make one of the handle sides with a spot to hold the tension tool.

Hint for the rest of us who have 5 thumbs on each hand, for getting past that "Let's flip this over and close the handle lock" step without scattering picks every which way across your desk:

Rotate the 4 items (2 each side) on the top 90 degrees before flipping over. It will give you more room to prevent knocking the stacks over, mainly by moving at least two of your thumbs out of the way.

I bought the covert companion, and you should make a video using each of the 20 pics in the set.
And explain what locks each one pic works with

I purchased your kit several months back and finally assembled it today. I also bought another pick kit you offer on your website. I was ecstatic when I successfully picked my first lock with your tools. I reveled in the moment. I’ll show my kids and see whether they want to take up the hobby.
