Actually the cracking is correct, even in cpr classes they teach you that you will break bones but they have about a 99% chance of healing and it’s more important to do that than to not let em breath

The boy manages to keep up CPR until the paramedics get there, which saves his mom's life. Because she's hospitalized, he ends up in a group home for Christmas, so the paramedics who responded invite him and the other children to the holiday party at their firehouse. In the end his mom gets released from the hospital in time to join him at the party.

Not matter how many times you practice on a cpr dummy nothing will truly prepare you for the first time doing emergency cpr and you crack ribs. It’s an experience you will never forget.

Funnily enough shes not wrong adequately preformed CPR will break ribs 9 times out of 10 that just how much force is required in such a "delicate" area!

I never thought about the added fear a kid could have when they crack someones ribs doing cpr because they aren't trained so they assume they are doing it wrong this scene is well done

Your ribs are there to protect your heart from geting hurt. Cpr is essentially punching the heart in a rhythm. So uh you kinda need to move the ribs, and that means breaking those suckers

Remember, would you rather be dead, or have a broken rib but still be alive? A be rib is usually a good sign.

When you do cpr chest compression way you'll break a rib or two meaning your doing it the right way if you do mouth to mouth there is a chance the person will throw up in your mouth whether it's normal throw up or blood but that means your doing it correctly hope this info helps you guys out

It's actually normal for some bone to crack when doing cpr. You need to prioritize the patient's life than if you break something

I was always taught that whenever performing cpr that if youre not breaking ribs, youre doing it wrong.
