Finger Of God - Twister

The Fujita scale (F-Scale), or Fujita–Pearson scale, is a scale for rating tornado intensity, based primarily on the damage tornadoes inflict on human-built structures and vegetation. The official Fujita scale category is determined by meteorologists and engineers after a ground or aerial damage survey, or both; and depending on the circumstances, ground-swirl patterns (cycloidal marks), radar tracking, eyewitness testimonies, media reports and damage imagery, as well as photogrammetry or videogrammetry if motion picture recording is available. The F-Scale was replaced with the Enhanced Fujita scale (EF-Scale) in the United States in February 2007.

This single line is the most powerful moment in the movie. When Melissa asks about the existence of an F5 and what it would like, there was no way she could have known the hurt she just reminded them of. And the one who felt it most. All in the room immediately turn their thoughts to Joe. Fighting a life's pursuit to avenge her father by making sure she can help it not ever happen to anyone else. Both the spiritual and metaphorical implications of the phrase "The Finger of God" hold so much weight as that in both ways we are not meant as humans to behold that kind of power. But at the same time, if The Finger of God can do much when you do not have his favor, imagine what he can do FOR you when you are in his favor.
