A simple act – replaying a card or two from your discard pile – has been the bane of countless metagames. Does such a seemingly innocent mechanic really cause problems? Should designers stay away from the idea of recursion entirely?

Join us as we catch up with the King of Recursion, Lukas Litzsinger (Netrunner, Star Wars: Destiny), now working for Wizards of the Coast and keen to discuss the past, and future, of recursion.

Awesome discussion with Lukas on recursion. Great series TC! Equally awesome discussion with MJ as well last ep. These are binge worthy.

Great program. Lukas is simply one of the best human beings on the planet. The amount of joy and unity that Lukas brought to the world with FFG:Netrunner still amazes me today. So many people connected with that game, made new relationships and build on-going friendships. The impact of A:NR to the card playing community will remain for many years to come. He help build the model of the LCG. Not bad for Journalism grad! LOL BTW- One of the highlight of my life was watching my future wife get to play A:NR with him at a TC event in Tulsa.

Maybe SpellSlingers can be my #2 digital game, next to Eternal. (Make it playable on Mac)

In unMatched, the Dare Devil and Electra decks use recursion as a part of their deck's theme and play style. The recursion is balanced by their smaller decks than other characters' decks. o this results in a theoretical deck size being similar. t was very well done, in my opinion, and balanced.
