Thanks for sharing Dominic! I'm glad the parts were well received. Someone else mentioned the twist function of the pen driver. Once you line it up and seat it, twist it 90 degrees and it will lock in place. Yours seemed like it was pretty secure, but if it should loosen over time, that twist-lock will prevent it from falling out. Also, I included some scale tools for the Charge in the pack with the thumb studs. -KVP

Anybody who starts a scissor mod business for leatherman tools is basically printing money

Small world, I just ordered some stuff from this guy a few days ago. And FYI, the website says the tweezers will fit under the saw on the Arc or P4, so you can have the ferro rod under the scissors and the tweezers under the saw. Really clever design.

The micro bit driver makes a lot of sense. I feel LM's holder is a waste of space for a limited use item.

Just placed an order for the ferro rod & tweezers for my Arc. Ur right, he's def shorting himself on pricing. I used to be a bit of a garage artist myself & I remember starting out, pricing was always hard to get right. When ur small time, it can take time to become confident in ur own product & learn to know ur own worth. He's def making a stellar product & could absolutely a fetch better price for it :)

I have that pen set up. With a black leatherman extender, it looks pretty sexy. You can also put the extender into the pen tip for longer reach. I wouldn't use it for any serious rusted screws but honestly I wouldnt be using leatherman bits for that anyway. It is a nice way to use the bit extender if you don't really see yourself carrying it or have a spare around.

I wish someone would make the bits out of super hardened steel.

Some awesome additions there. Any good options for adding scissors to a skeletool?

I have always been a firm believer in modding tools and other things to fit your own needs, so I am really happy to see others take it seriously. I don't have a Leatherman anymore, I became disenfranchised by their prices and refusal to move away from the proprietary bits. But, seeing stuff like this become more and more prevalent is really good for the community that does still carry and I hope it bleeds into the spaces for the budget tools too. I love my OZT Multiforce, but it still isn't as good as I could be for me. I'd love to ditch the saw and the serrated blade, for instance, because I never use them.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!!! I have a Leatherman Signal, but the Ferris rod and sharpener are pointless for me. Tweezers and extra bit are of far greater use to me. I’m heading to the website right now. Again thank you.

Amazing what one guy with a 3d printer and a great mind can come up with... That the big tool companies either can't, or won't do.

Yes! He does very nice work! I bought one of his scalpel holders about six months ago for my Leatherman G10 Charge Plus. I swapped out the can opener for the scalpel holder. It works great. It makes my G10 Charge Plus so much more useful! 😎👍🏻

Im thinking about getting a surge and this video cinches it for me because the one thing I want that the gen 2 surge doesnt have was the micro bit

I have versions ll and lll of the Signal bit holders; they're the best. And a nice little detail is that you can store/keep the whistle and sharpener in the same case the holders came in(they even come with a blank bit to serve as spacer so that you do not crush the holder when without a real bit)! Love my four sets. I also have the eyeglass bit holders and all pieces are excellent in quality and fit.

I saw tx tool crib talk about the micro driver holder. I think it is a fantastic idea. The "pen" didn't seem terribly useful to me. However having a glass breaker bit that is easily accessible and a micro bit with the adapter is compelling enough for me. Usually i end up using the extension itself (with a bit attached of course) as a screwdriver for things that just need to be snug, the "pen" does make some sense.

Great find Dominic I'll definitely be picking up a couple of those attachments that go under the scissors

I've added a mini hammer + full size bit driver to my skeletool and it's genius (I got that one from aliexpress but I've got other add-ons through etsy)
