The single best reason to buy BritBox is Vera. She has barely aged. Must be the water up there. I lived in Seaton Deleval, and I'm a year younger than Brenda Blethyn. No one ever guesses my age.

yeah, more seasons please, she's a beauty, angela lansbury sucks, vera is greater and best, detective ever, i hope she captures jack the ripper soon, i hope she will direct a funny episode where no one dies just gets injured, but with funny actions, no death, just funny stuff.

LOTS of diversity in 'Vera' which is fine.
They're literally never the criminal though which is odd.

Stood out that when 'Vera' told her junior officer to "give her a quid'' he gave a one pound coin. We didn't have £1 coins until near the mid 1980's or thereabouts. We had £1 notes.
We didn't have decimal currency at all until 1971. We had pounds, shillings and pence. Also 10 shilling notes which was half of £1.

It might not have been the episode in the above video but I wanted to point it out. Someone didn't research properly. Sort of spoils it a bit.
