I've got a ton of other videos to upload. Way behind but I need to put this out there. I have countless videos of my Sony A7s pointed at the night Sky. I have never seen something as this. maybeonce whenI filmed the northern lights. I big Orb passed through them. I got that on my channelbut the camera sucked.
This thing lit the sky thenfaded away. To my knowldege the ISS was nowwhere around at this time. I was trying and suceeded filming the Nasa sail right when it appeared

Nova Scotia, Canada here. I keep telling folks that our skies are like highways right now, and that there are things up there zipping and zagging and freezing and slowing down and changing directions all the time. First decent video I've found that shows what I see on a nightly. Awesome footage.

I am SO glad someone documented this! I have been seeing this exact same thing for years. I sit at night and watch them go fast then slow down and get brighter then fade and disappear. I think they aren’t of this world.

One of the best videos I have ever watched! Thank you.

I've seen so much activity in the skies over the years but I'm no photographer, and seemingly nor was anyone else until you. You've captured what I have seen so many times in such a crystal clear way. Our skies are teaming with life!

South East Australia here. Excellent capture! our skies ARE like highways right now, with things up there zipping, zagging, freezing, slowing down and changing directions all the time! But without a camera and special night vision, I only get to see the brightest and slowest things. Loving your posts. Thank you.

Seen the same thing 2 weeks ago over South Germany, it's amazing you caught that on camera!

I’ve been seeing these objects numerous times the last couple of years in the Northeast. All you need to do is grab a chair, go to a relatively dark place with less light pollution, sit back and wait. Or take the dog out for a walk when it gets dark. These objects pop in completely out of nowhere. They are either static or moving, and then they disappear - just like they popped in… the most bizarre thing EVER. The speed varies - sometimes they pop in slowly and gradually, sometimes it’s lightning fast and the whole process happens in a second or two. I am glad you captured this and your footage is nice and crisp.

In ireland here...both me and my gf spotted something like this independently of each other at 11pm last night high in the NW sky...stationary, glowed brighter than any star or planet for a minute or so and then faded and appeared to blink out...my gf in a darker area said that after it faded it was still there very dim.
I've no idea what I saw...and I've seen a lot in sky over the years....your video captured more or less what I saw. Thanks ..

Hello! Thank you very much for filming this! I saw this - or something very very similar in the south of vienna/austria comming from east - going to the west and diming out - about 3 or 4 nights ago. was too slow for handy cam and also thought - there would not be a good result with this only light. But you nailed it. I have also no idea what it could be. No sound, nothing to see around the ligth with eyes only - but it was no headligth. no plane. it was glowin by itself. bright. No baloon with a candle. great job!

I saw something like that in August this year, with my naked eye, just showing up right above me and so bright and big that I've never seen before, flying _very_ slow, become stationary and then fade out. Flashes in the sky are also often to be seen. But I live in Germany! And I go out every clear night (very early, at about 2.15 h in the morning. The flashes then come at approx. 2.55 - 3.45, sometimes later. Not always at the same spot. I saw the latest ones yesterday morning (Oct 1st) at 3.27 right between T5 and T4 piscium, stationary: 14 flashes, one of them clearly red. Nothing to see with my binoculars after the flashes stopped. I normally watch the sky with my naked eyes.
On Sept 30th in the early evening during dusk (at ca. 7.57 h) I watched a very bright light wandering slowly between Deneb and Altair, wandering westwards, and while slowly describing a circle "in the middle" of the summer triangle getting dimmer, but _wider_ and then (after finishing the circle) speeding up and heading very very fast to the west, not to be seen anymore. So what should that be? A sattelite? Honestly: to me saying that such observations are _sattelites_: _THAT_ is wishful thinking_ .
I use Apps like Heavens Above and Flight Radar etc to compare the ovserved movements in the sky. So I know what I see. There wasn't any sattelite, rocket oder plane or whatever near that object that could have performed _that way_ . But I _know_ what I saw.

My wife and I’ve seen some strange very bright stars float across the sky before fading out - very strange and very bright!
Thank you

So thankful that you posted this.
Hello there, from Washington State near Twisp.
We were coming over the Pass near Ross Lake and parked for the night. And as we looked up we realized that it was actually clear, there were lots and lots of stars. My wife loves to see them and so I was busying around while she viewed .
I was exiting our RV and looked up to the treeline and thought I saw a shooting star, but it was too slow. So it caught my attention so right as I was about to call to my wife and point it It began to fade, exactly the size and way your video depicts.
I stood there thinking it went behind a cloud band or something maybe a tree that silhouetted .
Nope. Gone.
The speed was faster than a plane, yet not that of a shooting star streak.
And when I pondered about satellites brightness and orbit path... It was too bright, too big to be the satellite dot that is so common these days.
This would have been heading from the Pass towards Oroville diagonally.
Anyways . Whew.
Glad someone else saw the disappearing slow shooting star thing that carried no tail:)

Been seeing these things for ten years now here in U.k. not satellites they seem inside atmosphere, they are silent and they dim out and disappear. Ive seem them fly slower than planes, planes would stall at that low a speed. Still see them now and im.glad someone has captured them with a quality vid!!!

I just found your channel! This brings me back to my childhood where I had big windows in my room. Every night I fall asleep watching this kind of sky. Never seen this much movement tough, however this feels exciting intriguing and relaxing in same time. Thank you for showing us…

I have seen similar overhead, here in Southern England. Near to Bournemouth, to be exact and I think that rather than changing their beightness, they are just moving higher whilst still being on the original trajectory or direction if I’ve used the wrong word.
So, I have seen it a few times now and with the naked eye each time. The object is bright and then grew dimmer which made it “appear smaller” but I have seen one that I thought had slowed down and as I watched, it became stationary and suddenly it became so dim, so quickly, that I thought that was what it was doing: switching off the lights and holding position.
However the next time I witnessed the same thing, I realised that it was actually moving away from me/us/Earth at a very high rate of acceleration.
That was my thoughts on the matter. Thank you for giving me a place to share them.
I would love to have a decent Telescope so I could sit in the garden and watch the skies more closely.
All the best for the (just about still) New Year 🫡

Pilots on the transatlantic routes have been observing bright objects such as this for the past couple of years at least. Especially over the Bay of Biscay. Sometimes singular objects, sometimes several together and moving in formation. My pilot brother has been flying for over 20 years and had never seen a 'UFO' up to a few months back. Now he's seen these things several times, and there seems to be a consensus that the frequency of incidents is increasing.
