So I tried the suggestion of @praedythgaming and the vulgus outpost boss in the convector facility in fortress is not an orb phase which makes it an easy fight. But to crack the amorphous 120/121 material, you'll need to beat the cloned neckbet which might not be an orb boss, but you should be careful as it hits harder compared to the sterile land reactor boss which are just 2 elite units with no invulnerability phase. The vulgus outpost in sterile land however has a boss with orb phase though, so it's just the same grind.

Just farm the outpost in convertor facility in fortress then go to the reactor in the bunny cave area. The boss is even easier at the convertor facility outpost as its not an orb phase boss

FYI::Sharen Is electric so you can have her in the bunny cave and still get the materials with a bunny

Now I know a lot of YouTubers have been putting out these farming vids for a while now, sort of advertising "Get Unlimited CCs & EAs",
but no matter what, you'd still have to wait 7 & 1/2 hours for Catalyst, and 30 hours for Activator research.
Thus, it's just a matter of "what can I do in the meantime" situation. So, it wouldn't matter how many blueprints you'd have in reserve.

Optimally, no need to force yourself to only target Crystal or Energy unless you do not intend to get new descendant or copies of weapon upgrade. It is best to farm descendant and maximize weapon upgrade (unique ability) most of the blue print will be within energy or crystal and you have chances to roll it this way can allow you have more option to different type of weapon and synergy else you wll be extremely exhausted

FYI it is best to do infiltration operation/intercept boss with other players even if its a bit SLOW, dont take away the only few multiplayer function left on the game just too stroke your ego that you can finish it a little bit FASTER.

Stop encouraging people to do activities solo, it really bad for playerbased of new players that they cant get help/carried from endgame players.

I have maxed out Bunny, Gley, Ultimate Lepic, Thundercage, Vestigal Organ and Tamer. Currently Farming Legacy.

And I can tell you guys best ways is to make 1 solid max build which consists of 1 descendant and 1 solid weapon of your choice and then do solo hard runs for amorphous materials (with 230-250% increase so you guarantee to drop 2 materials per run) and open those materials at bosses.

Also crystalysation catalysts are good to get from outpost amorph materials which happens to get farmed naturally anyways as you ofte have to farm a certain material at thes outposts. And they only have 1 minute cooldown now before it was 5

With Sharen Infil that 063 drops VERY often. In fact currently it’s more likely to drop than not.

Kingston outpost 54/55 is a good Sharen farm too.

Gives mats for part of the activator and both the hack/outpost boss and the void reactor boss are stupid easy.

Shards are more of a pain if you arent using bunny cave for tons of matching types.

Outposts is the worst way to farm these. For the catalyst you HAVE to play Sharen and it can take several minutes at a LOW CHANCE to even drop what you need. I did an outpost 8 times in a row without a single drop taking several minutes.
The hands down best way to farm for these is to the hard mode Sepulcher operation where you can get guaranteed 2x material in 5min or less.

If you are only after the donut or muschroom just farm amorphous 17 or 02. 2, 5 min missions and 30 sec boss fights wat more efficient

I have over 50 catalyst bp's atm, but activator ones never drop for me, i did over 100 various runs to get them and all i got is 2 in my time. So at this point i just do my other farms like for ultimate weapons and descendents and if i get it i get it, if not then whatever.

The outpost always figs me over dropping only 1 out of 3 or 2 runs for energy activator nah I’ll run magi lab for them instead
