The Whoop 3.0 is a wearable recovery tool that tracks your strain, recovery and sleep. It does all this through a heart rate sensor and accelerometer. So far, I've been using the Whoop 3.0 for almost 1 month and have been collecting lots of great data. Stayed tuned for my full review in 4 to 5 months.

I'm trying to decide if I want to try out the whoop. I've got VERY small wrists and so traditional fitness tracker watches are too large for me. I currently use just an app on my phone to track sleep without a wearable so I don't know how accurate it is and I have earbuds with a heart rate monitor that I use for some workouts, but the earbuds use a standalone app and are limited with their fitness tracking abilities (not all workouts are easily trackable), plus I don't always want a earbud in my ear, especially if I'm not listening to music, like when I play ice hockey. I'd really like the workout data from hockey, which is another reason I'm considering the whoop.
I like the idea of just a band, I don't wear a watch and want something as low-profile as possible, especially for hockey, but the $30/month is quite steep, especially when you look at the cost over an extended period of time. I'd like if they add another option that after your 6-month commitment you can drop some of the functionality to a more bare-bones system with only the features you want, basically just less data, and a lower monthly cost or some type of free access to limited data/tracking after a certain period of time.
