WHOOP’s monthly subscription fee reminds me of Tivo’s business model. The benefits you derive from the proprietary software can definitely be worth it.

I am interested in this, as a fireman, l won't wear it on a code, but l think for the normal prep work
around the firehouse, it will help me, as l am 53, a little over weight, and prediabetic. Are they available in the US ?

Hi Kait! I was watching another video where this nutritionist said that her patient was doing a fasting. Although she would fast for 24 and sometimes 48 hours yet her sugar glucose levels were at about 240. She said her patient’s body had plenty of fat stored in her muscles and liver due to years of a bad diet. So her liver was dumping glycogen into the bloodstream that’s the reason why she got the high sugar readings. Could you please weigh on this matter I’ve never heard that before.

That is for the review Kait. I’ve been curious about these as the data seems great but really turned off by the subscription model. I was hoping you could just buy the device and you’re good to go. Subscription seems pretty steep.

That subscription model is really horrible, I'd rather pay a lot of money only one instead of a small fee every month. Also - what is the real benefit over a regular garmin watch for example plus a breast belt to measure the hrv?

My whoop 2 lasted about 2 months before it stopped charging so that was a waste of money
