I took a pic across the bay 4 - 5 miles away on my 14 ultra and you could make out the curtains in a hotel window, zoom is incredible

I pre-ordered 14 Ultra, upgrading from 13 Ultra. Maybe differences are small, but I wanted to get global version (14 Ultra) instead of chinese rom (13 Ultra). 13 Ultra wasn't available where I live, so I had to import it.

The iphone pro is so much more class, like comparing a Mercedes with a Toyota... The phones are in Sweden at the same price, so it's no-brainer which phone to buy. Also this video was prejudice towards the Xiaomi, which becomes obvious when looking at the photos.

Have you tried out the variable aperture? I'm quite excited for what that means for video smoothness, but I haven't really seen it tested yet. Can you use it to keep the shutter speed at 1/120s in 60 fps video?

I have a 15 pro max and all I have to say is damn that Xiaomi camera is amazing! Those colors and bokeh look great I’m jealous

Xiaomi is better, but it’s honestly not that far ahead. It’s mainly its telephoto performance that crushes the iPhone. Everything else comes down to preference imo

The Xiaomi 14 ultra I think has better rear cameras overall. The portrait photos are a weakness though imo. There's a bit too much beauty effect on the portraits compared to the iPhone and especially compared to other Chinese flagships like the Oppo Find x7 ultra

xiao mi still got beauty effect, even no effect mode ? make so soft even blur skin .

The iPhone does seem to add a bluish yellow hue to all its footage, and that seems to add a bit of contrast but its more like a filter than a pure photo.

Love my Xiaomi 13 pro, but this 14 Ultra is on another level when it comes to photography. 🤔 Might have to stick with this brand

Toll gemacht. Meiner subjektiven Meinung und Beobachtung nach, gewinnt das iPhone in Video und Porträts und dem 48 Mp ProRaw Modus, alles andere ist Xiaomi besser ❤Xiaomi hat auch extra DC DIMMING. iPhone liegt bei 480Hz.
