I am IN LOVE with the scrub cloths. They really shine on my kitchen counters, because I can feel anything stuck on the surface and it's just abbrasive enough to remove it.

I have seen people cleaning their glass top stove top with store bought oven cleaning spray. That can’t possibly be good for the surface. I have also seen people clean their glass stove top with WD 40. I always consider what the product is that people are using is made of. Many products are flammable or combustible and the thought of using them and then turning the burner on scares the crap out of me. I like the DIY methods you have taught us. Thanks😊

I have already switched to cold water for most laundry. What about towels and sheets? The towel, whites and sanitizing options on my machine are set at hot for the wash cycle. However I can change to warm or cold.

What if you have an older machine? Is cold water still effective?

Also, I never believed the whole sanitizing sponges thing. There is no way to ever clean them because of all the nooks and crannies in a sponge. When they get ratty, use them for dirtier tasks or simply throw them away.

I think Febreeze ads are pretty bad, have been for awhile... as if masking textile odors with chemical perfumes is "refreshing" or cleansing in some way!! 😮
