Morshu has to be one of the most real and down-to-earth characters in Zelda history. Upon entering his quant little shop, he doesn’t force Link to buy any of his goods, nor does he act strange and stern in demeanor. Instead, he humbly lists the items he has to offer, telling Link that he will give him what he wants if he has the funds to buy it. He doesn’t appear money-hungry, yet clearly expresses his desire for money just so he can get by and hold his own. And when Link doesn’t have the proper amount to purchase an item, he doesn’t act angry or scold Link for wasting his time; he sincerely apologizes and offers for Link to come back later when he is able to pay for what he wants. The land of Koridai may be overtaken by Ganon, but we can all count on Morshu to be a shining beacon of sincerity in this dark world. I salute you, soldier Morshu.
