I think it is simpler...just a theory though...I think that At Attin is the Old Republics Mint or Fort Knox - think of it the whole old republic providing credits to all their member planets...this had to come from somewhere. Maybe all of the lost planets were "treasuries." As for the buried ship...the timeline doesn't quite add up also that SM-33 has clearly been programmed by/as a pirate. I think at some point before the war a pirate found At Attin and for whatever reason decided to stay (maybe found love/had a kid) buried the ship and began a peaceful new life.

I for one would like this show to connect to deeper lore for sure. It's a well crafted show so far, and has a lot of potential for future seasons. Would be great if they could find a way to weave in old republic! Enjoying this show quite a bit so far.

Great Theory! I hope they go that direction. It could be a great intro to the old republic. As long as they don’t pull another Marrok! Haha! Jk! Fantastic vid as always Bismo!

I think the KOTOR and Revan ideas are off the mark for sure. There is no way they are getting into game lore. If they did I would be extremely surprised. I would like to see something like that. I would get a geek hard on for it but I have seen enough stuff happen in the film industry to make a very educated guess that this series isn't going to tie in anything from Kotor.
I'm 40. In the 80's when I was a child my favorite movie was called The Ewoks Battle for Endor. What I saw in that movie was a little creature with bucked teeth. It was called a Teek. I saw one of those creatures in episode 3 of Skeleton Crew. So this gives me a bit of an idea who these directors are. They love older star wars and they have dropped hints of that throughout Skeleton Crew.
I obviously can't say with complete certainty that they won't make some old republic things canon but what I can tell you with absolute certainty is these guys who are making Skeleton Crew are old school Star Wars fans. They love the old school stuff. They jokingly brought back a werewolf alien that George Lucas grew to dislike and removed in a later edit of A New Hope. Things like this make it clear they these guys are old school and they they also have a huge passion for Star Wars.

I don't think At Attin has been isolated that long. Their currency is recognizable and outsiders have heard of it, even if they think it's a myth. I'm thinking it's been "gone" for centuries perhaps.

What if ahsoka was the one who betrays the clones on umbara?

Interesting theory. I think some of what you've said, may be true.

good theory, but unfortunately very unlikely. What they refer to as the "old republic" is just the Republic that fell to Sidious Imho. I think its still a neat show and has the potential to build up some characters for future generations as well. Crossover Omega and Wyn doing shenanigans in 12 years?

Your timing is off. The Old Republic Era did not form until 200 years after the end of the Rakatan Infinite Empire, and did not end until the last battle of the Last Sith War in 1000 BBY. Granted, this is all "Legends"... But the most likely Legends timeline for when At Attin cut itself off from the rest of the galaxy would have to be during the Draggulch Period (2000-1000 BBY), also known as the New Sith Wars, and more specifically because of the Battle of Mizra in 1466 BBY, when the Republic suffered a massive defeat that led to their loss of control over the Outer Rim.

Second most likely time period (in Legends) would be 3652 BBY, when the Sith Empire conquered Coruscant.

I think ur theory is worthless bcs clowns in Lucasfilm dosent even know what they doin, they dont have brain capacity to connect this boring show to old republic 🤣🤣 just bcs they jingle with few old republic credits dosent mean revan or nihilus or any charakter thats well writen has to do with atatin

It’s snoke, thrawn, moff Gideon, or something new. Also, the sm33 is just an empire era protocol/security droid. See rogue one. Or like, spend a couple years just getting into Star Wars before trying to make bonkers theories. Like he’s just a kx droid with armor plating.
