All right, I'm just gonna come right out and say it. Based on these first two episodes of skeleton crew, I'm pretty sure the whole planet that these four lost kids are looking to return to is actually a planet of imprisoned People secretly serving the rise of the first order by handling the enormous amount of money needed to fund the first order’s operations and secretly training the youths to become the First Order’s workforce when they grow up.

That's right. This entire planet of Atatan is secretly serving the will of the recently deceased emperor Palpatine…who apparently got tossed down the reactor shaft by that silly cyborg samurai only five years before the events of this show. and yeah, I know with some of you may be thinking: “MT, weren’t you paying attention to the first episode of the show when Undersecretary Farrah spoke to the class? She specifically said that the main function of the entire planet is to keep the REPUBLIC peaceful and strong. Not the First Order.”

I didn't even know this show was coming out until earlier this week. Pleasantly surprised. It has just enough mysteries to keep me coming back. I like your theory. There is something weird going on that planet.

Are you no longer doing Skeleton Crew? I do not see anything for Episode 3 and 4?

As a comp sci student learning analysis, data structures, and statistics. I feel SEEN and ATTACKED by MTs observation that the kids career choices are boring lol

SM-33 is perfect. Love the misisng eye "patch" and all the other stereotypical pirate details.

I love the theory MT. But I got a counter, how was the kid able to access Jedi stories and archives? Wouldn’t that be censored.🤔

Heavy spoilers, you’re missing the fact that the UnderSecretary is saying “Republic” not “New Republic”. The working theory is that At Attin is a distant planet cut off from the entire galaxy, which had such a vast rich amount of resources, such as the credits that the pirates go crazy for.

I knew nothing about this show ahead of the premier last night and I kinda loved it. I'm hooked. Protect Neel and KB at all costs.

The fact they use old republic credits sells out the storyline that their planet’s people doesn’t know the old republic no longer exists

Love the Goonies vibe. Jude Law's entrance was perfect.

Are you not covering the other episodes?!

I really like this narrator. The theories about the logos were so astute. Excellent addition to Heavy Spoilers.

The voice of that teacher droid reminds me of the droid in Jabba's palace deciding where 3po and r2 are going to work.
"You're a feisty one!" It says to R2.

I like the theory, but I would think they'd scrub any knowledge of the Jedi from the history books. Wim seems to know a decent amount about them

The kids didn't know what stars were, yet they are versed in the good/bad, light/dark of the jedi/sith. I doubt that they would be taught such things if they were being groomed to serve the first order.

Really interesting theory. Makes the show a lot more interesting to me. I was a bit suspicious about that 'barrier, ' already but tying it into the wider lore is a sweet notion.

Damn MT… just damn… i love when you do the breakdowns! I always get something different from your breakdowns… vs. pretty much everyone else’s!!!

Interesting take! Completely changes my perspective on the show. There's definitely a big secret being hidden and this is a very plausible interpretation.

I don’t think they know the republic fell, they had old republic credits. Although the storybook looked current although the supervisor will probably know more.

The first two episodes are interesting and it’s enjoyable to see another show about the underbelly of the world and look on things like trade routes, pirates etc, something season 1 Mandalorian did before it switched to well… Mandalorian, something Clone wars and bad batch dipped their feet into but ultimately being about… clones and the book of boba fett was SUPPOSED to be. Solo also got a good bit of the underworld.

I also like At Attin for the sheer reason that it’s so unique. It reminds me of suburbia, high standard of living. An inhabited planet with a high standard of living that actually still has nature on it! It’s like Alderran, Naboo, and MAYBE Pabu, serreno and Raxus (kinda) and MAYBE ord mantell
