Chloe performs the final movement from Bruch's Violin Concerto No. 1 in G minor, Op. 26 with the Singapore Symphony Orchestra conducted by Lawrence Renes. The performance was recorded on 3 March 2023 at the Esplanade Concert Hall, Singapore.

"It was a very wonderful experience to work with Maestro Lawrence Renes, [SSO's guest] concertmaster Vesellin Gellev and the SSO. Maestro Renes was very patient with me to find out how I would like to play the Bruch in our first rehearsal with the orchestra. He would always make sure that I was comfortable with any adjustments or new ideas that he suggested to me.

"During the concerts, I felt that the intensity of the music was so well-kept throughout the performance and all the climaxes were brought out so beautifully that I was truly inspired and rewarded with tons of emotional satisfaction playing the Bruch with him. I also had a lot of fun communicating with Mr Gellev and the SSO through music and I felt so well supported by them. The concert was indeed very memorable for me." - Chloe

You're amazing, Chloe, you have become my favourite violinist.

I have never heard a violin sound so good and with such a clean tune, truly marvelous and a delight to the ears for the person that gets to hear you.

The rest of the orchestra also sounded really good, praises for them too.

It's so clean. There is no struggle, all style, all substance. It's actually unbelievable how violin can be played like this

The amount of confidence and total comfort she exudes on a stage, playing for so many people...

This is the most difficult movement of the entire concerto, and she nailed it. She makes it look so easy but it’s not! And she played it with so much grace, finesse, and it sounds beautiful too.

after listening to Itzhak Perlman, Hilary Hahn, Joshua Bell, Janine Janson and now you, I think this might be my favorite 3rd movement. There's a sense of perfection throughout it, however combined with that sense of cleanliness reveals the messy style of Bruch, which is lacking ever so slightly in Hahn. (Hahns performance is almost a little too perfect, and the 3rd movement has a hint of crunch that is eliminated beautifully in this version)
You executed this really beautifully, and as a violinist of the same age, I can't help but feel envious, however I understand the sheer hard work and dedication you put into this craft. Thank you for serving as inspiration for me to go practice

My daughter plays this piece, let me tell you these chords alone are on a knifes edge of dissonance and are quite difficult to keep sounding so musical! It's one of those pieces that separates the aspiring from the achievers!

The famous melody 4:55 to 5:25 was so beautiful by Chloe that i never get from any other violinist before, her good heart reflected by her music!

She reminds me of a young Kyung Hwa Chung with the same intensity and tonal beauty but she looks so comfortable and relaxed even in the most challenging phrases. If the violin is not Stradivarius she makes it sound like one. What will she sound like when she is 28? The sky's the limit in its highest definition.

This is an outstanding performance, she has so much confidence and brings so much intensity and depth to her performance for someone so young. Very satisfying to listen to.

Happy birthday, dear Chloe!
I like the way you play music, and every piece you play becomes my favorite. Thanks to you, I started listening to classical music, and, after all, today I participate in international competitions.
To be honest, I've never liked playing the violin. but when I saw your performance in the Menuhin finale a year and a half ago, I really got carried away with it.
Now I have just turned 14 years old, and I am already learning Paganini Concerto No. 1. Thanks to you, I have what I have today.
Thank you, dear Chloe.
I would like to wish you further success in music, inspiration, health and happiness in life! May God bless you.
