Across all industries and organizations, the functions and objectives of management are the same. These core elements, known as the Four Functions of Management, are: Planning, Organizing, Leading, and Controlling.

The role of management is to ensure that each organization has an objective and direction, enrich the decision-making process, provide support, motivation and inspiration for their workers and implement mechanisms so the organization achieves its objectives.
