Fix lag in Photoshop CS4

Hey, I know this is super old and you may not even use this channel any more, but I wanted to thank you.


The issues I had were simple, but I couldn't figure out what the problem was. Looking around for a few days, you are the only one who actually helped me with a nagging problem, and I wish I could do more than just a thumbs up.

I've Fixed My Brush Lag From Terrible To Zero With One Setting!!!

after trying all other solutions, here it was:
It seems the default settings on the ATI (3850) card are fine as long as the 'WAIT FOR VERTICAL REFRESH' setting is set from 'OFF, UNLESS APPLICATION SPECIFIES' to 'OFF'. This small change immediately fixed all lag time.
For NVIDIA: "vertical sync:force on" under manage 3d settings>program settings

@RecoonX When I use The Paint Bucket On CS5 It say 10 then stops and never works

I thought it wasn't working at first but that was because you have to restart Photoshop for it to change, worked from then on;
