Dear John, Opera is really nothing for him, only showcase his range. If you do prefer analysis his technique, 'SINFUL PASSION" is best choice. it is mind blowing with any technique you could think of, it is singing TEXTBOOK!!! You are absolutely one of the best vocal coach out there!!!!

There is an extended clip of this performance that shows the moment Dimash sees that his father (the man they kept showing in the shadows) is there. He literally does a double-take in the middle of his thank-yous, and this joyous smile spreads over his face. He almost sprints off the stage to embrace his dad. It’s truly heart-warming. And then later he asks his father, “Did I sing well?”!!!! 😳😳 Greetings from Florida.

Dimash is #1 in my life! His stage presence is fabulous, I think by the end of his career, he's going to be even bigger than Freddie, and Freddie IS Mr Showman! On top of that, Dimash is classically trained and his range...out of this world. Please, please watch some of his other newer performances. The story telling in some of these pieces are to die for. ♡

Discovered Dimash 3 days ago with this performance. Have watched it many many times as well as binging on his other videos. Simply can't get enough of him. Julie Andrews has been my personal top rated singer for 60 years. Dimash just changed that.

I was in his NY concert was Amazing.. I will not get tired of hearing this young man with that wonderful gift, I cannot believe that a single human being has so much in himself, passion, emotion, beautiful personality, a great heart, and a pure and unique technique. Love it!
Also, a great coincidence and pleasant surprise happened to me  Dec 9, in New York, day before  the concert. When I was about to enter the NY library I saw Dimash's parents who were also entering, Dimash's younger brother was our translator ... that was a  nice meeting..I  had some photos with them ....❤❤❤❤

If you think that was good....Ogni Pietra New York blows this away!!!...Crazy Good!!...Also throw in the Diva Dance Bastau for the double....Sinful Passion in my opinion is his 2nd best performance behind Ogni Pietra..

At 5.38 minutes, this is Dimash's father, who is also a professional singer, and Dimash's mother is an Opera singer. A very modest and intelligent family!

As you said he has been blessed with a voice, here is a fun fact:
The name Kudaibergen is of Kazakh (Kazakhstan) and Tajik (Tajikistan) origin and means "Voice of the angel".
Kudaibergen is also of Oghuz (archaic Turkish) origin and means "Gift of God.".

Thank you for the reaction. Let's forget "male" and "female", they're very limited classifications anyway, we now have the voice of Dimash, the voice of a human above all, but which is in a class of itself, extremely rare as you say, and how blessed we are to be able to hear him. "Richness" is the term I take out of your analysis as a word I could use for my experience since I heard him for the first time, in September 2018. His singing makes you rich, not in terms of material goods but quality of life, brightness of the days, perception of the surroundings, understanding of what it means to be a human. Love and respect from Iceland!
