What I think is happening is a standard 2 coin rail coin then the second foot closer to the player is coin punched and another coin is thrown making the coin punch ricochet to the new dead coin which then allows the rail cannon to ricochet BACK to the new coin hitting the boss again and then the superpowered coin ricochets back to the boss another time effectively making a quad coin
