The intimate violence is a really overlooked part of the Holocaust to the general public, and the endeavour to throw light on it and provide information about it is an important one. Studying the 'Holocaust by Bullets' one gets an idea of the large scale of the intimate violence committed.
I wish you good luck with this most necessary project and hope you will be courageous enough to pursue it all the way - and not of any political reasons omit Ukrainian from investigation as it has been the common practice for a very long time. In Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania many, many cases of intimate violence are to be discovered.

In India, Pakistan and Bangladesh for some reason a seemingly organized violent massacre by mob based on religious beliefs that appears spontaneous is called a Riot. It happened viciously in 1947 and still flares up. Here it is called Progroms. I am understanding the cruel similarity.

This is really informative what's been talked about in this video. I have to say that i have learned a great deal about the subject described from every speaker in this video equaly. However I do have a remark or shel i say even a personal problem with one word that has been used in these presentations to describe certain situation or situations. That word is 'Intimacy'. I think it's really a wrong word to be used when put in the context of the killing, killings or mass murder.
In modern day 'Intimacy' implies the closeness in love or a degree of a very personal affection for another person. It also has a (rather strong) sexual tinge to it as well.

Once again I really think it's a wrong word to use to describe such menacing circumstances. Schoking even. But okay. Natalia (and some other speakers) is not a Native English speaker so that gives it a pass. But please guys, try to find another word.

The Jews were dispossessed of their homes and businesses and had to leave with barely a bundle of clothes to be herded into enclosed barracks- types apartments where they had to share small apartments with more and more people while food rations and space rations, as well, were reduced and they all witnessed more and more people succumb to starvation and illness.
Imagine being a little three year old girl who is being fed and sleeping and living under a table because of lack of space to move about. Imagine witnessing a black booted, uniformed soldier entering and surveying this "home", going to the wardrobe and removing your coat, a little white fur coat you are attached to because someone who loved you gave it to you, and just taking it, as if it was never yours, never was given to you or belonged to you. And no adult to move forward who could have gotten your coat back for you under the circumstances. That does not happen in the realm of family life where people understand and respect that intimacy is a response to the meaning of trust and its longevity as a tie between the past and future of the people joined by that intimacy. It surrounds all other intimacies. A child of three can tell that. And this adult woman who managed to survive an inexorable process of being dragged nearer and nearer to the final solution ( extinction of her family), as a PolishJew, has told this story that I am recounting, about her coat being stolen.
Already the families had been split up as the same thing had happened to their sister's brothers and cousins who were being housed in like buildings in other ghettos, even close by, but there was no news from one to another, ( they were kept incarcerated) thus they had no idea what had happened to their close family members.
Their parents were really the first to be murdered and also the doctors so that they had no one to contact for medical aid.
All of these offences would qualify as eroding the boundaries that would protect the integrity of their intimate connection time and space and to eachother. All of these things were done within the framework of meting out violence and destruction.
This simply provided a sick or sanctimonious ( entitled) hostility into the minds of others who were in a position or proximity to commit other acts of mental and physical cruelty or intimidation, because the chief plot was to intimidate, control and to finally kill off all these citizens of Germany that were not befitting of the New Germany that Hitler wanted to spread, obviously well beyond the borders of Germany at that time. I am sure he convinced himself and many Germans, as well as many outsiders, of just how progressive his policies were or would be when all was said and done.
It should stay in our minds as a vivid lesson, given the leeway Progressives are giving themselves today in intimidating and manipulating parents, school children, teachers doctors, public health policy, hospital staff and many other policy issues( even spaces such as have been reserved in public to protect the privacy and safety of women and girls) to conform to the wishes of people who have no interest beyond promoting a grand scheme in the interest of erasing the past in favour of a future in which the present "bad guys" and select scape goats will be fully eliminated. Thanks be to the Woke Wallahs- the "good guy"promoters of this pogrom against the human values that stand and uphold respect for human decency, dignity and the human rights, especially of the young, people are being harrassed, intimidated as if the values and social rules are a blasphemy upon the rights of a persecuted minority who have seized the moral right or authority to claim themselves above and beyond all tenets or text( everything and anything, really, that poses a contradiction to their " point of view" on the matter, as it pertains to their progressive convictions.
Now, unfortunately, these spaces are considered to confer a privilege which means women are scape goated for having a privileged " identity", and we are now labeled as suspicious persons, obviously wanting to " underprividge" others). We go on the cancellation list if we do not simply comply and our spaces, as they existed, are cancelled which is also an added hostility, threat, harrassment and a humiliation, especially if people just ignore the bullying or bully the women or men who speak out.
The media and its controllers and handlers as well as the technologizing of of peoples' everyday communications is now a major means of intimidating and propagandizing for political influence and gain or just for creating mayhem and confusion which is a great means of manipulating people away from thinking straight, which is the purpose of such campaigns.
It seems stupid to even point it out since it ought to be obvious. But The obvious is obviously not so obvious when there are plenty of people being paid behind the scenes to muddle and twist it according to their "better" interests... As Hitler was able to do. And there are many who have followed in his footsteps and will continue to do so, to control and destroy the will of the people to properly maintain a democracy and the power invested in us to elect better representation and not to tolerate parties that are infiltrated by people with malevolent or harmful motives.
