If it´s cloud gaming, YOU DONT NEED THE LATEST IPAD. Now if you want to natively game on a tablet device, you can get the latest Ipad or samsung Tab

For cloud gaming just use a Tab8 for Blackview or something (if you’re on a budget). It’s only like $100 and has a good wnough CPU to handle decoding and transcoding that you need for cloud gaming.

Irl you can game fine only any IPad, the big reason for doing so is because of a bigger screen and because since many FPS games come with built-in controller support, it makes absolutely zero sense to NOT use a controller.

If you buy a Samsung Tab Ultra & connect a Gamesir 8 pro telescopic controller to it i think that would be the greatest game changing moment in the history of cloud streaming lool. That new Samsung is 14.7 inches & it’s AMOLED & it’s 2k resolution & yes it’s not cheap but holy heck, man. btw you can easily attach a GameSir 8 pro controller to any iPad. It’s basically like have the joycons of a Nintendo switch attached to your device, but it works like a Xbox controller not a joycon.

Ditch GeForce now, Xbox game stream, PlayStation game stream, stadia or whatever it is now, etc, and build yourself a gaming PC. You can use moonlight and tail scale to remotely connect and cloud game from your own device, rather than renting someone else's
