this reminds me of when i was a kid. the fact that generics are basicly the same just packaged differently.
My mother worked in a bottling plant. she ran a line that filled bottles..today was ketchup, so she loaded the bottles that ran under a huge machine that filled them. she ran a load of one generic off brand then just changed the bottle and the machine filled the other bottles from the SAME vat of ketchup.
From that day on I never cared about the brand name on my stuff.

I bought some knock-off oreos last week here in the Netherlands called ''Maestro''. They look EXACTLY like Borneo and Duplex. But WITH quality control, and almost the exact same packaging as Borneo.

The irony? Oreo themselves are knock offs. The actual original is Hydrox (which were made in 1908, whereas Oreo started in 1912)

Actually company's will sell off products that are not up to spec to a another company that must sell it as a different name for obvious reasons.

I'm pretty sure the Duplex biscuits are the Borneo rejects! Similar to the broken biscuit bags you can buy in some shops, which are full of different types of broken biscuits.
