I was sexually abused age 3 to 7. Then was groomed and sexually abused age 12 to 15. I have never told anyone, but what I can tell you is that it's horrendous. I carry this guilt, shame, confusion and anger inside of me. When there is explicit evidence the law needs to be firm and harsh, else survivors like me will never come forward. Shame on the UK legal system.

Absolutely agree. As someone who suffered SA myself as a child, my first thought was how is this justice for the victims? My second was how is this any sort of deterrent? It’s not.
