PLANT MARKER BOARD 🌻 EASY PLANT SPACING. My self designed Plant Marker Board is ideal for easy plant spacing. Having standardised the sizes of my raised beds, I designed and made a marking board (similar to a plant spacing ruler) to aid uniform plant spacing when setting out plants. It is made of a composite UPVC to help reduce wear. Lots of variations can be made to this principle to suit most gardeners needs.

Love it I have a measuring stick which my parents bought me a number years ago which is very similar but now as I’m getting my beds more uniform in size this will work great cheers 🍻

Good peice of kit Nigel, I have 14 beda, 13 of a standard size 12ft by 4ft. You would not believe the pain caused by the one bed that does not conform. At the time it was made I thought, its only one bed I dont have the material at hand to make it conform, I will make it do, I can live with it. Have you seen those Tom and Jerry cartoons? a Devil on one shoulder an Angel with wings on the other thats me. Take care Mike

Hi Nigel. I've watched you use this measuring board in previous videos and wondered why someone hasn't used this idea to produce the item commercially. If it was marked up with professional looking figures and measurements I think it would do well. I like the fact you can walk on it too. If it was available then I would want one.

My Beds are 4ft wide so i have a board with holes drilled every 6inch so at that point i can space plants 6, 12, 18, 24 inch etc apart no need to complicate it any more than that in my opinion.I do like the idea of colour coded holes though tbh 👍 happy growing Nigel mate
