7:56 Im not positive and dont feel like looking. but I believe this ship is a type of cargo ship with an ice breaking hull, which plays in to the major investments the Russia's are making in the artic. Along with the terminal the ship is meant to visit ( if it is the ship) is the only project I've heard come in under budget and on time out of all the grand projects they announce.

Resources? Not gas and oil. We’ve already discovered far more oil and gas than we can use in areas that are far easier, cheaper, and safer. Was it Shell or BP that tried to set up in the Arctic Ocean a few years back and lost their entire investment? One storm-driven iceberg can ruin your oil platform, and oil platforms can't dodge.

Fishing and right of passage are issues. Fossil fuels are a red herring. Minerals are a Greenland thing.
