Sarah Jessica Parker had a clause in her contract stipulating that she will not do any full nudity. This is why the audience never sees Carrie in anything less than underwear, whereas all the other main female characters have been filmed in much less. Sarah Jessica Parker (Carrie) and Cynthia Nixon (Miranda) were both pregnant during Season 5. Sarah Jessica Parker spent up to 18 hours a day in heels playing Carrie.There are only eight episodes in Season 5, due to Sarah Jessica Parker's pregnancy. Cynthia Nixon was pregnant during Season 4. Her baby was born in 2002. Sex and the City became the first cable series to win an Emmy Award for Outstanding Comedy Series.

So many memories ! Sarah Jessica Parker and her friends were my friends too :) When I was a teenager I used to take ice cream and seat in front of the Tv to watch especially Sex and the City. Great memory !

I had no idea this was shot in 1:33 format and cropped down to 4:3. I wish they'd re-release it in full upscaled HD in 16:9. The streaming service that plays this in the UK (NowTV, owned by Sky) only broadcasts the 4:3 original format.
