In v4.3, Squad will be completely reworking the Irregular Militia faction, and with it comes some new toys to play with including the BM-21 Grad. This is the first MLRS and self-propelled artillery in the game and looks AWESOME. Update drops March 15th.

I think that the unconventional factions should have their build radii on their radios increased so that they can actually build across a wider area.

6 anti tank grenades + hats and lats sounds like armour hell especially on the more wooded green maps militia fight on

I've always loved unconventional militaries in video games. It's fun playing the underdog and coming out on top against modern day militaries. Hopefully these changes make the faction a lot more fun to play.

A minimum range of 900 and max of 1500 is a pretty small window. IRL, the Grad can go out to 12-15KM on the unguided HE rounds but they also have a minimum range of atleast 1KM. I can understand why they did this so the Grad can’t just sit right outside of Main and immediately head back in to rearm or avoid danger.

The only thing I hate about insurgents is the lack of optics on weapons. They also need to put in the fast rope for helo drops. Its literally been around since Vietnam and would allow drops in heavily wooded or urban settings.

Always wanted to play Militia this way, just waiting for guys to walk by unaware before attacking from the side or behind, and then leaving before they even knew what hit them! Hopefully these new kits will help

A lot of vehicle players use a risky strat to get as close as possible to the enemy so they are within arming range of the anti tank roles. The RKG-3 is going to do the exact opposite to them.

Ok, hear me out, new squad name claim, Grad-Support. Squad takes the Grad and a Logi, focuses on setting up a Grad support FOB. Logi makes non stop ammo runs for the FOB (Without placing any HAB or Ammo crates, only vehicle repair stations, so no one else can take its ammo, and the squad just spawns on a rally point if needed), while the Grad constantly rearms at the FOB, allowing for more frequent barrages. Grad SL can act as a call in for all team SL's, and as the front move around, relocate the FOB, allowing for a constant threat to the enemy. If the Grad squad is a full squad, then the Grad SL can place a few squad members into a Fire Team, and have them be forward spotters. Calling in strikes, directing adjustments, and giving the Fire for Effect command. Get a squad working together like this, and watch the devastation!!! lol.

The grad and the field gun are gonna be game changing since I can definitely see mods like MEE incorporating the field gun, grad and these new camo nets

I think Militia will be massive OP now. It’s the RPG rounds for me that make insurgents and militia on par with most other factions. Constant RPG frag rounds hitting enemy positions pin them down so well. The HAT kits controlling enemy armour bring the margins in again making it even.

As with both Militia and Insurgents factions, controlling enemy armour is the no.1 priority, as soon as teams figure that out I find Insurgents and Militia quite hard to beat.

Want them to add 155mm artillery operate by player themself with some guided arti shell like russian Krasnopol and Excalibur round for USA
