hi, am i correct in saying the correct way of finding the list is:
the number of items in the list mod 2

To find the midpoint, dont you have to take the number of items in the list, add one then divide it by 2. So if there are 6 items its (6+1)/2 which is 3.5 which rounds up to the 4th value. So with this binary search equation, when there's 4 values left, wouldn't the middle value be 3, meaning you've found 6 then? :)) so sorry just wanna get dem marks on thursday

Why is it that the rectangles were used for input and output on the flowchart at 1:35? I'm so confused! Whenever I'm looking for flowchart examples to help me they're always so contradictory! Help! I've got a mock exam tomorrow and am not good with algorithms...
