Oh yes, spot on! I moved to Alabama (temporarily) from the North and Southerners are still BITTER about losing the Civil War. On my first day of teaching at the local school in 2017, they had written across the computer screen on my desk "Go Home Yankee!" These were by teachers I had never met. They made it known from Day 1 I would NEVER be welcome. Not because I am black because I am a straight married Caucasian woman but merely because "You didn't grew up 'round here, did ya?" However, I am glad I lasted three years there because black and brown students, LGBTQ students and sadly one girl who had been raped by her brother quietly visited me at lunchtime in my classroom because word got out among the students that I was a safe place to land. Bible Belt? Southern hospitality? None to be found. Remember the FIRST campaign stop that Trump made in because he knew there would be no problem finding racist hate.

Tapper and Bash as moderators from the debate were terrible. They both sat there like statues. Fine, if they make their reasons, that it is up to the candidates to fact check each other, but Trump didn't even answer the questions. They should have repeated the question to force him to answer or state on the record that he refuses to answer. Again, they were awful

I was approached by an extremist Trump supporter who threatened to have me stripped of my citizenship, and have me deported. All because I criticised their leader. I'm a US citizen, was born here and went to primary school, middle school, high school, and university here. I have a US passport. And I'm employed here, and pay taxes. I told them these things.

My dad was an immigrant physician who delivered thousands of babies and saved multiple lives.

His extremist constituents have crossed a dangerous new threshold.

What's going to happen if he becomes president and exponentially emboldens these people?

MONEY. ISN'T. EVERYTHING. Human decency is.

The fact that she studied all this history and it seems to concern her, makes it even more egregious when her and her colleagues have Republicans and Donald Trump in their interviews and they let them lie about everything and never call out their dangerous ideas.
