Love the magic mat! I’ve been using it with my Gemini jr for a couple years. The sandwich is weird….sizzix plate, magic mat, paper, die, Gemini plate. No warping whatsoever. About every 3-6 months I place the magic mats in boiling water to get rid of the lines and paper scraps.

Replay Crew: I love all the cards but the polka dot background with Refined Copper LP is one of my favorites. I am loving how copper is making its way forward more and more. I liked seeing the one awkward die cutting moment. That was hilarious as well as the clean-up of it afterwards. I appreciate you leaving it in!

I like the magic mats have about 5 of them. When they start warping I put them in the sun and use a different one, I bring the other one in from the sun and use it. I keep going back and forth like that til I can't use them anymore. So far I like them better than the clear plastic ones. They also seem to cut better than the plastic ones. As far as the magnetic one I haven't been able to get one yet.

I have used the magic mat for quite some time now. I have an electric A4 (Letter) size Couture Creations Go Cut N Emboss with really strong rollers. I replaced one cutting plate but found that there is a slight difference in thickness so I used a cardboard shim and that fixed it. Yes, the mat warps but this is easily fixed by heating it with a heat gun or very very gently with an embossing gun. I like that the mat is washable and all those little fibres that get left behind can be cleared away. I scrubbed mine with a toothbrush after about 6 months of continuous use. It took no time at all really, dried very quickly and cutting was as good as it was when it was new. Hope this helps. Oh, and even with overseas postage on top, it's cheaper than buying new perspex cutting mats which I would have to do more often.
