Saw it last night too, and thought is was the dullest Star Wars in the franchise... also, Luke seemed liked a white TFL male checking out of society, who just disappears at the end... it felt more like a Harry Potter movie than a Star Wars movie.

Episodes 7 & 8 are the worst SW films. I like the prequels despite their flaws, people love to hate Jar Jar but i bet some of you missed him when seeing Rose and the porgs!

Why didn't the dreadnought have a force field? Both Death Stars and the Star Killer had force fields.
Why do bombs "fall" in space?
Why do ships appear to "sink" when damaged?
Why doesn't opening the bomb bay doors in space cause explosive decompression?
Why are the bombers so slow and why do they fly close enough to eachother to blow eachother up?

Answer: Because Rian Johnson thought he was making a World War 2 movie with a couple of space wizards spliced in.

I was a hard core Star Wars fan as a kid. I was disappointed in the prequels, but I was so disappointed in TFA that the next movie (whatever it was called) was the first one since 1977 that I didn't bother seeing in the theater and rented instead. That was the last nail in the coffin. I had no desire to see TLJ and it looks like my suspicions were warranted.
