Ali never lost in his prime, all his losses came after nearly 4 years in exile and especially the Holmes and Berbick debacle dont really count anyway.

At 4:10 you falsely claimed that Frazier's left hook knocked Ali down "for the first time in his career". This is WRONG. Ali was knocked down twice before, once by Sonny Banks, and once by Henry Cooper. Get your facts right!!

It pains me to watch Ali after his decline began. He was The Greatest but not strictly for his boxing abilities. He was a living icon and inspiration in victory and maybe more so in defeat. I have no proof but as a boxing fan I actually believe his decline slowly began after his first fight with the also great Frazer✝️🙏🏼

Remarkably, Ali never complained about low blows from his opponents, which happened frequently, including and especially those caused by Frazier. Ali, as loud and mean as he could be before fights in the interests of promotion and provocation, was unbelievably fair inside the ring. Why did he lose the first fight against Joe? He underestimated the odd angle of his left hook. And he overpaced in the first rounds. He thought he would knock the guy out in the 5th round at the latest. It was not a fight of the century for me, as one of the two fighters was far from his best. It is unbelievable how often Ali hammers the air during the early rounds instead of hitting Joe's skull.

Muhammad Ali was NEVER knocked out on the canvas. He was too tough to be ko’d. Against Holmes & Berbick he was way past it and retired on his stool. He is THE toughest and most skilful heavyweight to ever grace a ring. The man was incredible. His shock upset of George Foreman was unbelievable. There will never be another man like Ali.

Ali was the greatest but he could be hit with a left hook even by lesser fighters. Fraser capitalized on Ali carrying his right hand low.

Remember this- Muhammad Ali suffered losses to Frazier and Norton, because he never ducked ANY hard fight. In his time, you fought the best and you either won or lost. Not like today….
