any donations would be much appreciated :D

Highlights from the 1964 title bout between Muhammad Ali (known then as Cassius Clay) and Sonny Liston. Ali became heavyweight champion upsetting Liston by tiring him out and causing him to quit on his stool at the start of the seventh round. Ali's defensive skills and head movement were unbelievable in this fight as he dodged almost everything Liston threw at him.

“He wanted to go to heaven, so I took him in seven”
- Muhammad Ali

I listened to this fight on the radio with my dad when I was 8 years old. My pops was a huge fight fan. Man,
seems like yesterday a lil wide eyed kid heard Clay screaming. Then I grew to love him, we went to close circuit
fights vs Frazier One and Foreman. Probably the best bonding moments I ever had with the old man.

RIP Muhammad and Pops.

Ali's handsdown defense was incredible. It provokes the opponent and exhaust them. Respect !!!

Except for walking into the occasional left hook, the Muhammad Ali of the 60s was virtually untouchable.

The greatness of this man is evident by the huge number of people, from all walks of life, who attended his funeral. Indeed, a courageous soul who was proud of his deen.

Nice to have this footage. What an amazing talent Ali was. Moved like a welterweight in a heavyweights body. Sonny couldn’t catch him and gave up.
