Fried is throwing harder than I've ever seen him.
Really leveraging off his legs.

Damn imagine how much farther Olson’s homer would’ve been if it wasn’t raining

dude olson didnt just hit that ball 46o feet he did it in heavy rain with wind blowing in

Fried looked pretty good today. Luckily didn't have to go to the bullpen today, so an extra day of rest for those guys. Olson smoked that ball. He has been hitting great this season so far. Acuna is still the best player in the world.

Man this team can go places with this lineup healthy. Olson provided a beautiful moonshot when he’s been quiet recently and our ace did his normal billing. Go Braves!

Well you don’t see this often, a 5 inning game. Rain caused this one to end in 5 innings but hey as a braves fan i’ll take the win. Acuña with the nice rbi hit and then olson with the monster home run were the story of the game. Not sure if they will be able to play tomorrow because of the rain but we will see. Let’s go braves #ForTheA

Notes From the Game:
+ Max Fried was a MAN ON A MISSION. A Complete Game SHUTDOWN of the Mets, Limiting them to just 3 Hits and 1 Walk while Striking Out 7! He Improves to 2-0 with an ERA of 0.45! In the Month of May Alone, He's Not Allowed A SINGLE RUN in Each of his 3 Outings, Going at Least 5 Innings in Each!
ROTATION TOTAL: 5 Innings, 0 Runs, 3 Hits, 1 Walk, 7 Strikeouts.

The Braves Offense Came Alive when it Mattered, and Score the Deciding Runs before the Rain Came Down!
+ Ronald Acuna Jump-Started the Offense in the 5th with an RBI Single to Right! That would be his Only Hit of the Game, as he finished 1-3. Acuna Stands in with a .352/.440/.986 Line through 27 Games This Season!
+ MATT OLSON WITH THE EXCLAIMATION POINT! His Only Hit of the Game was THE DECISIVE ONE: A Three-Run Super Missile ONTO THE SHEA BRIDGE! Olson Stands Firm with a .252/.369/.932 Line with 8 Home Runs This Year!
+ OTHER NOTABLES: Vaughn Grissom, Eddie Rosario, and Kevin Pillar each had One Hit Tonight. Austin Riley, Despite Going 0-2 with Two Strikeouts, DID Get on Base via a Walk in the 4th. The Only Braves to NOT get on Base were Ozzie Albies, Sean Murphy, and a Returning Michael Harris II.

+ Despite this Game Being Cut Short, the Braves Scored the Needed Runs, then Max Fried Finished the 5th Inning JUST as the Rain Started to Fall Heavily in Queens. After the Disasterous Loss to Miami Yesterday, We'll Gladly take a Rain-Shortened Win!
- The Phillies and Marlins Beat their Respective Opponents, while the Nationals Game against the Pirates Got Rained Out. This Puts Atlanta 3 Game Ahead of New York, 4 Ahead of Both Philly and Miami, and 7 1/2 Ahead of Washington.

TOMORROW:
Round 2 of 3 Between the Braves and Mets will take place Under the Afternoon Skies of Citi Field. For the Mets, it will be Tylor Megill who will take the helm, Who looks to shake off Two Bumpy Starts against the Dodgers and Giants, in which, He's given up 7 Runs on 13 Hits Over just 9 Innings of Work.

Meanwhile, it will be SPENCER STRIDER who will take up Battle Stations for the Bravos, coming up an EXCELLENT Outing against the Flailing Fish, in which he came up 5 Outs Short of a No-Hitter, But Managed 8 FANTASTIC Innings of Work, Giving up Just 2 Hits while Striking out 13 Marlins. HOWEVER, This will be his First Visit to Citi Field since August 7th of Last Year, In which he was TORCHED for 4 Runs and 6 Hits in just 2 2/3 Innings before being MOCKED by the MSM for his Postgame Comments.

Can Strider and the Braves exact REVENGANCE on the Mets and Show them why they should 'FEAR THE 'STACHE'? Or will Megill and the Mets find some way of 'Getting Lucky'?
We'll find out at 4:05 P.M. EDT on FOX (International)!

SoundFX09, Signing Out!

Game 27: We'll take that short win! Loved the Olson bomb, go Braves!

I think with Baty really coming into his own, he should be moved up to number 2 in the order. Good contact, good speed. Love Marte but I’d bump him down to the 6th slot

The Braves own us but we already knew that. Just happy with how Baty and Alvarez have been looking
