'On This Day 1982: Falklands War - HMS Sheffield Sinks'

Here, the Sheffield’s Captain, James Salt, talks about the Argentine attack – the very short warning his crew received, the missile’s impact and aftermath.

The Exocet blew a huge hole in the ship’s side and led to an inferno on board - with some of the metal glowing red with the heat.

Twenty of Sheffield’s crew died in the attack and the ship later sank, on May 10, 1982.

An example of retaliation at work. Less than a week after the sinking of the Belgrano.

No entiendo el idioma solo se Español, pero debe ser uno de los barcos atacados por la Aviación (pilotos valientes e ingeniosos) Argentina en la guerra de las Malvinas.
