He should have just let them marry sooner and named them both his heirs. He should have made Daemon his hand so they would have been in King’s landing not Otto Hightower. The Greens would never had been a thing and they would have been there when Viserys died. There also wouldn’t have been the whole illegitimate children problem either

Okay but why did Viserys not just marry them anyway. Targaryen's married each other all the time, they didn't really need to marry for advantage and it would have settled the succession problem easily.
