The contrast between the US and China looks more stark all the time. One is negotiating diplomatic agreements and the other is supplying weapons. It discredits all the ideas the US claims to stand for.

The Palestinians need to drag in some unbiased big boys like China in to help bring a lasting peace to the region. Israel has gone in a dark direction, which really isn't that different than Germany in the 1930s. Unfortunately, the Israel lobby has our politicians by the short-hairs and they cannot do anything other than unconditionally support Israel. That is not how peace can be achieved, and that has proven itself over several decades. A new big boy has to step in and really give it a push.
