Such a cute idea! I have some lovely origami papers that will make beautiful outfits. My aunt used to make paper dolls for me when I was a kid (very much in the style of the 1940s) and she would make templates for me to make my own doll clothes. I can't wait to show her these! She's 94 and still going strong. Thank you for the templates and for resurrecting a wonderful memory!

I really love these tags. The outfits are so adorable.
When I was a kid I cut out people from the catalogs from the current big name mail order catalog. I remember yhe Speigles and Sears and Robucks ones.
I had hours of fun doing this. I was about 23 yrs of age before I had some store bought paperdolls. I was a little old for them, but they were a novelty to me. I played with them for a while before I outgrew them. Now here I an right back to the beginnings lol.
Yours are yummy.
My faviorite is the gray one all glitzed out.

2nd comment! Yes when I was an extremely poor child I had dreams of becoming a fashion designer. I did learn from necessity how to sew well and pursued that for a time but strangely enough ended up with a wonderful career with NASA and degree in mathematics! Hardly dress design but in a way working with patterns gave me a beginning in at least arithmetic (5/9” seams etc.) And the clothes let me fit in with my peers! 💕💕

Oh my goodness, absolutely LOVE, LOVE, LOVE these, so awesome. Have been pulling stuff together to do a sewing journal, this will be a great addition, thanks so much!!
My pup gets nervous when it gets windy, yep, a killer German Shephard for sure, lol. She is on my heels when outside, or hiding in my closet when the wind picks up. She's on high alert with her eyes darting around, I think because she hears the noise but doesn't know where it's coming from so she's constantly looking for the source to protect me, yep, she's my girl.
