Im 74. I have had books on applique. Well they were complicated more than I care to remember. Lol❤ this was a wonderful compilation of wa ys for me to learn. And omg how simple, how easy and yes fun too. I cannot wait to do a bunch of gift wall quilts. This is going to keep me out of trouble and out of the kitchen. Ha. I will make small art quilts for peoples walls. Im so doggone excited if you could hear me you would hear me squeal. So i want to say thank you and now get me a valium. Lol my favorite is the interfacing. Its so smooth and clean looking. Whew.this can be a lot of work. But so Worth it

I love appliqué, but I don’t have an embroidery machine. THANK YOU for showing how to do beautiful appliqué on a regular sewing machine. Wow!

I cannot say thank you enough. I have learnt so much in this video. I have been trying to figure out the best way to include applique into my work without making mistakes and ruining it but now I feel confident and empowered enough to create something beautiful. I avoid doing appliqué whenever I can. I joined a BOM and did not realize that there were pieces that needed to be appliquéd. I watched your tutorial yesterday and I was able to do it. Thank you so much for making it easy to follow.

Such a good tutorial on three ways to appliqué! So well organized, well thought out, pleasant presentation, and great photography for being able to see the actual stitching! Thank you for sharing your creativity and expertise with us!

I've taught a number of friends and family to applique. But now I will recommend this video, for them to watch, save and use as a reference. Such a clear explanation and demo. Thank you for sharing.

Very nice tutorial! I personally use raw edge method (first one), but instead of straight line machine stitching on the edge, I machine appliqué using small zigzag stitch using fine thread. It’s almost invisible but in only closer inspection I can see. It’s the quickest for me and I like it a lot. I used to hand appliqué and that takes too much time 😅 so I don’t do that. Only time is when I use felt fabric I like to hand appliqué using embroidery threads and to show off the thread. I’ve seen many people using interfacing in North America (second method) but that’s not so common in where I live but I want to try that out next. I have never seen reverse one (the last one). I learned something new! Interesting. 😊 Thanks so much for sharing!

I’m going to try all three before I decide which one is my favorite. They were all described simply and not intimidating for a beginner like myself. Beginning a baby quilt with appliqué, I look forward to beginning my project with the clear direction your tutorial has provided.

Thank you so much. I'm making a memory quilt for my fiancé for his wedding gift and I didn't know how to appliqué. This helped.

What a great tutorial. So easy to follow and understand. When my little brain freezers I can find myself getting into a bit of a pickle and I'll be saving this video. I like this flower pattern.

This answered my question ! Amen ! I like the interfacing and I really like the way the blanket stitch makes it look. Yes more work, but like I said I like the way it looks, crazy me!!!

I'm so happy to run across your tutorial. I subscribed too. 😊 I especially like how you left your comments up long enough to read them instead of having to rewind.

This is such a fantastic tutorial, really gives a clear idea of what the advantages of each technique are and what the subtle differences are in the finished look of each version. Thank so much for this!

I am so happy I found your tutorial, I have looked at so many as a beginner and never felt so intimidating by them even if I replayed them so many times to get it, but yours put my fear away looking at the 3 ways, which I had no idea of the three. My favorite was the interfacing appliqué, again thank you so much, gonna subscribe right now🙏🌺

I always use the raw edge method, it is by far the quickest way, thanks for the tutorial.❤❤❤
