Eating Whatever I Catch while Surf Fishing from a NEW Beach! We head out to go saltwater fishing at a beautiful new beach in Florida with a mission - eat whatever I catch. What kind of fish would be around a beach like this?? Will I finally catch one of the fish I'm after? We attempt to catch clean and cook whatever we hook into.. I did not expect for this to happen..

Again, I want to thank each and every one of you for the support! At the time of this upload we just passed 546,000 I'm having so much fun making these videos, lets keep this rolling!

What's your favorite fish you've caught so far this summer?? 🤔🎣 This might be my favorite day so far!

Mad respect for letting a breeder back in the water, especially ASAP.
Hats off from an appreciative Florida wildlife lover!! Love your vids, you're a true angler

I surf fish a lot and some things that help a lot are things like picking up a short scrap piece of 2 by four or wood from a store that cuts them and a cheap rubber mallet. I use that all the time to hammer in my sand spikes because fish will yank your poles and spikes down easier than you'd think if you don't. Putting red or orange beads above your hooks are great for getting pompano attention as well as other fish as the red looks like clams or sand flea eggs! I can also see you had a trough by you by watching the wave action and the best spot for pomps is in that trough, especially right where the outer waves crash down and smooth back out OR right behind where they crest in the distance as that is where everything gets stirred up. They can also be inches to only a foot or so from the shore depending on the wave action! If you got a trough near shore I've caught pomps and whiting and even red and black drum 6 inches from the shore at the edge of the wash. They will patrol the wash edges for crabs, clams, baitfish, and sand fleas.

There are a few videos online about how to read the beach to find structure and they are well worth watching! An empty looking beach can have a ton of structure without you knowing it and the waves and current can tell you a lot! Like the mentioned outer waves cresting further out from the shore then crashing down and smoothing out shows a second sandbar and a trough! Change my surf fishing for the better to learn reading the beach and my catch rates went up a ton!

Edit: I almost forgot something else! If your shrimp pieces aren't getting bit, peel the shells off! For some reason peeled shrimp can make a huge difference! I can have shell on pieces not get hit but catch dozens of whiting on the peeled shrimp sometimes, its strange but it works.

Ur spikes need to be way deeper. Like atleast 1/3 of the spike. No mallet needed. Look up beach umbrella setup. Same process.

Love the surf fishing videos. Expand your baits beyond shrimp. Cut baits, mole crabs. Clams. Squid mix it up.

Also I made sand spikes with a 4ft section of aluminum L shaped metal. Believe it was 2x2in. A few hose clamps and a 5-6in section of 2in pvc pipe. Slides right in and holds tight.

I feel your pain about forgetting things. Ive learned to have all my lures and tackle and poles sorted beforehand. I have so many lures, tackle and fishing line i could start my own basspro. Lol 😆 🤣

Maybe try putting a cast cover over your boot so you don’t have to worry so much about the tide getting your boot soggy? We used one when my son broke his leg—he could sit on a float in the pool in his cast with one of those on 😜

Specks are one of the easiest fish to clean and some of the best tasting also! IF those trout are biting on the bottom, then you would of really got them on a popping cork, if you could of got in the water.
