I pull with my arms to much. I don't have a problem getting under a clean but my heavy snatches look like powers. I need much work on this.

I think you should always actively apply force to the bar, if an athlete powers a weight while applying force with the arms after contact, they could definatly full more. The activation of the arms after contact means greater controll of the bar and usually a more solid turnover in the snatch, and faster fixation in the bottom of the snatch and cj.
