I can JUST imagine this song playing in a slo-mo final stand scene at the GPO, with fires breaking out all around, in a movie about the Easter Rising! I can see it now... IRB fighters covering the leaders' retreat. Someone waving an Irish flag on a long pole a la Enjolras.

I'd love for this to be played, Ireland vs England World Cup Final, where we drown out the stadium belting out this anthem and therefore helping us win the match. It'd be the best feeling ever if we, a nation with just 4.5 million people, win a FIFA World Cup, to win it for the first time would be better than a future wedding, or the birth of my future firstborn, streets would be packed, pubs would be filled, everyone getting their hands on a jersey!
