Anthony Kiedis would've gotten crucified by the media if he did that in 2024!

The fact that she automatically reverts to thinking that she's going to get in trouble and be reprimanded because of Anthony being a creep is absurd.

her: you're making me blush
Anthony: you're making me blush
Flea: you're not blushing
Anthony: you're making flea blush
Flea: I'm blushing.

"You're making Flea blush."

"No, *you're* making Flea cringe."

Even in the 90's most people watching that would have thought "WTF?!", but there was no social media so it was quickly forgotten.

She shouts "Back off", physically pushes him away with both hands, and then gives up, and slumps in place without reciprocating. Any woman including grandmothers from 1920 would know this is not okay.

He was a mess back then. Glad that he’s clean and sober today.

What she said - "You're making me blush"
What she meant - "You're making me uncomfortable"

I recognized her voice. She's the same person that made the most notorious interview of Kurt Cobain. She deserve more respect.

It was harassment back then, it is harassment today

Anthony Kiedis has a long history of sexual harassment. In 1990, Anthony Kiedis was convicted of sexual battery and indecent exposure after a concert at George Mason University in Fairfax County on April 21, 1989.
Also in 1990, Flea and Chad Smith were arrested on charges of battery in Daytona Beach at a performance for MTV during Spring break. In 2016, former music executive Julie Farman penned an essay in which she discussed being sexually harassed by two members of the Red Hot Chili Peppers in 1991.

Creepy. Imagine what he was like when there were no cameras around.

The 90s were such a radically different time. You wouldn’t even recognize people from then today, it’s like all our attitudes, interests, values, all of it has changed just enough thanks to 9/11, social media, smart phones, that we are completely different people than the ones living prior to all that.

Kissing an interviewer when she initially didn’t want to be would still be frowned upon no doubt though lol

She clearly didn’t want him to kiss her and yet he did it anyway, so he’s out of order.

Her body language screams " I want to kill you, but I need to cover my bills. "
She didn't want to give it away then, or now.

“Just a little kiss!” This is what idiots who don’t understand personal boundaries say all the time. These same guys should get forced kisses by other men too

"the media" dude the girl's just trying to do her job, I'm sure given the opportunity she'd never interview him again

I remember seeing the lead singer of the GooGoo Dolls slap a waitress at the Rainbow (in Hollywood, CA) on the butt when she walked by. She turned around and chewed this dude out in front of everyone. It was awesome.
