Hey Paul, I worked in the aluminum can industry and we sprayed a lacquer based coating inside cans. No plastic! We test them continuously for any missing areas during production. This video shows a can being dipped in acid but that’s not reality. Content testing is done in labs under high temperatures and long exposure time to ensure no leakage occurs during a product life cycle!

Wish more things were produced in glass, like they were not too long ago..

And just to inform my friends here. when they say bpa free they are usually just replaced with a slightly altered chemical called bps which has the same effects.

I can confirm this is also true about paper/cardboard packaging like milk cartons and chicken stock cartons. I used to work at a production facility that made packaging for drinks/food. The way it's heated on makes it impossible to physically remove, that's why it's considered food grade.

I noticed most all the beer companies are going from bottles cans, why to save money but I won't buy from aluminum cans period no way. I have bought up this matter with Samuel Adams brewing as they completely switched to aluminum cans now because they won't tell you why, it's obvious it's about saving money because of the ongoing inflation but it's ruined their beer and they refuse to hear their customers concerns why they want a choice to buy in bottles but them like other companies are avoiding peoples health concerns means stop buying their products. I mean if people want bottles then raise the price because glass bottles are always better but Samual Adams doesn't want to listen, it's a shame

Remember when Stanley cups where the craze only for them to have a class action lawsuit regarding lead?

It's ok. I just drink out of the middle of the can and plastic bottles. Not the side where the drink touches the can or bottles.

Thank you Dr. Saladino! Because of you I know why I can't eat bread made with enriched flour or sprayed with glyphosate. Didn't just develop adult onset celiac disease.

Every top of the line water filter is made from plastic.
Every water bottle filling station in public places has plastic water lines that go to and from plastic water filters and dispenses through a plastic aerator. It never ends.

I agree to reduce plastic use as much as possible though

Yea u can bring stainless steel water bottles but you are filling that bottle with water that has most likely been in plastic unless your getting it directly from a lake or a glass bottle of water which is expensive as hell

It's literally impossible to avoid it because it's everywhere.

I drink out of glass and use a good water filter but so far can't give up my sparkling water in cans. The brands Spindrift and Waterloo seem to not use BPA or BPS. I'm still researching what they do use. Maybe Topo Chico which comes in glass bottles would work although it's much more expensive. And buying bigger glass bottles of sparkling mineral water.

So you’re saying that there will never be a time that I’ll owe child support I think that’s a win.
