In Practice Excercise Q.10, Both ( option a & c) are correct.
If Reporting verb is in Past tense then reporting speech which is in Past Perfect Continuous, it will be change in past continuous or present perfect continuous.

Q10- option A is correct . past continuous and present perfect continuous tenses changed into - past perfect continuous but we can't use " "since" and "for" in continuous tenses.. So option A is correct ..

Mam, In Q-10 option (a) is also correct because when the direct speech is in present perfect continuous tense then we also change the tense in past perfect continuous in Indirect speech ....
