No wonder they were baffled. When I see someone go to a restaurant, I, too, am flummoxed as to what the heck they are doing there in the first place! In my mind, I have wrestled with this puzzle so many, many times!

Some possible explanations (and I am only speculating here):


1) Taking a class in nuclear thermodynamics.
2) Buying tools for car repair.
3) Renewing home insurance policy
4) Initiating process to adopt a child.
5) Seeking out antique furniture.


Beyond that, frankly, I'm stumped.
Anybody out there have any ideas as to why a soldier would go to a restaurant?
