Vedic, Hindu and Norse gods are extremely similar, beeing so far a part. Vajra and Mjólnir is pretty much the same "tool". The same tool is even found in Sumerian iconography.

There's a place, a shrine of sorts at the bank of river Indus, in the region of ancient mohenjodaro civilization. It's called satyaan (from the word seven). According to the lore, this temple is to honor the seven sisters who were chased by a wadera (Sindhi for overlord). Now does that remind you of another story? Paleides? How come this story is echoing continents away from Greece?

You've got to listen to the podcast, "The Ancient Tradition". It does an excellent job of including Nordic mythology along with discussing polytheism in Egypt, India, Mesopotamia, etc. Very, very good...though academic.
